Club History

The coffee club came about because Rose Battle lost her husband and was at a loss for people to see and interact with. Her granddaughter called the church to see if there was a place her grandmother could meet with other seniors. In 1991 Pat Henderson stepped up and started the club in the DeSales House. The club has grown since then, we do a lot of talking & eating. The coffee is good the food tasty and the company is wonderful.

We meet at Holy Cross Catholic Church in the Salesian Hall on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month. We may have a cookout, a Pizza party, pound sale, or an auction. We even had a senior Idol Show or was that idle show, I can't remember. We play BINGO on the 3rd Mondays. We also try to go on a bus trip or two during the year.

We would be happy to have you join us and always look forward to meeting new members.

Where to find us: The Salesian Hall is located in the Education Building. (Click on the link below and look for Building #2 in the diagram)
